Privacy notice

How we collect, use and protect your data when you use this website. Last updated: 17 October 2026.

This notice explains how JoodBooking handles the personal data we collect through this website, in particular the join and contact form and the website analytics tools. We process personal data in line with Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and its implementing regulations.

Who we are

JoodBooking provides booking and operations software for hotels, travel agencies, Umrah and transport companies, and is based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. We are responsible for the personal data described in this notice.

What data we collect

  • Form details you send us: your name, mobile number, business type and, if you choose to add it, your business name.
  • Context sent with your request: the page you sent the form from, the plan or product you selected, and campaign parameters in the link (such as utm_source).
  • Technical data that protects the form: your device’s IP address (to limit repeated requests and prevent abuse) and a security check run by Cloudflare Turnstile.
  • Analytics data, only when analytics tools are switched on: pages you visit, device and browser type, approximate location and how you reached the site, collected through cookies or similar technologies.

We do not ask for payment card details, ID numbers or any other sensitive data on this website.

Why we use it

  • To contact you about your request, arrange a demo and answer your questions.
  • To prepare a proposal that fits your business type and the products you are interested in.
  • To protect the website and the form from spam and abuse.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve its content, when analytics are switched on.

We rely on your consent when you send the form, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to your request.

Analytics and cookies

The website may use the following analytics tools, which only load when we switch them on in the site settings:

  • Google Tag Manager
  • Google Analytics 4
  • Meta Pixel
  • Microsoft Clarity

They set cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits and campaigns. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the website keeps working without them.

Who we share it with

  • Members of our team who handle sales and account setup.
  • Service providers that host and run the website for us, such as Cloudflare (hosting, database and security checks), under agreements that require them to protect the data.
  • The analytics providers listed above, when they are switched on.
  • Public authorities, when a law or a lawful official request requires it.

Some of these providers may store or process data outside Saudi Arabia. When that happens, we only transfer data as permitted by the PDPL and its regulations, with appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to handle your request and any business relationship that follows, and for no more than 24 months after our last contact with you, unless a law requires a longer period. After that we destroy the data or make it anonymous. Analytics data is kept according to each tool’s retention settings.

How we protect it

Data is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access is limited to authorised staff, and the form is protected against automated abuse.

Your rights

Under the PDPL you have the right to:

  • Be informed about how your personal data is collected and used.
  • Access your personal data and receive a copy of it.
  • Ask us to correct, complete or update your data.
  • Ask us to destroy your data when we no longer need it.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before.

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and we reply within the time limits set by the law. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can file a complaint with the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA).
